Summit NJ resident Linda Flanagan will discuss her recently published book.

In Take Back the Game, journalist Flanagan draws on her experience as a coach and a parent, revealing how the youth sports industry capitalizes on parents’ worry about their kids’ futures, and delves into a national obsession that has increased the risk of both physical injury and mental health problems, and encouraged egregious behavior by coaches and parents.

This program will take place in person and will also be streamed on Zoom. Copies of the book will be available for sale by the author.
